CSA 2009

Community Supported Agriculture

The 2009 season began on June 1, and we have sold all of our shares.

Each 18-week share costs $250 and provides approximately 3/4 bushel of produce per week.  Extra produce is usually for sale when members pick up their boxes, and that gives our customers the flexibility to get a large amount of the vegetables or fruit that they really enjoy, while also trying out some new tastes in reasonable portions.  Our weekly newsletter and recipe links are sent by email to our members and friends, and can also be found on this site.

The official season runs from mid-June into October, and rain checks can be arranged.  If you know you’ll be out of town one week and make arrangements in advance, we will give you a make up box after the regular season ends.

Members come out to the farm on Thursday afternoons from 1 to 6 pm to pick up their box of produce.  Some people pick up the shares for other members and deliver them.  We use special waxed boxes to keep the produce fresh, and we ask that you return these each week - they last a long time, and save resources for all of us.
