Our small family farm in western Wisconsin produces naturally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs, which are available through our CSA shares and a humble farm stand.  We purchased our land in 2004, and we are transitioning the property from conventional to organic production.  Our goal is to grow a wide variety of favorites, so that you can enjoy fresh, local tastes throughout the growing season.

The photo on this page shows part of an actual weekly CSA share at the height of our season.  In 2009, we are changing our CSA to offer larger shares for a longer season than in 2008.  We will continue to offer extra produce for sale each week at our farm stand.  We take great care in choosing, cleaning and packaging the produce to give you the best taste and appearance possible.

Growing organically means that we follow the USDA organic standards in terms of seed sources, fertilizer, pest and weed control, and other growing practices.  We start most of our plants from seed, and get as many of our supplies from the local areas of Wisconsin and Minnesota as possible.

A Warm Welcome

What is CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture

CSA is movement that began to take root in the United States in the 1980’s as an experiment in connecting farmers directly with their customers.  Members purchase a “share” of the farm at the beginning of the season.  The farmer can then plan how much to grow, and will also have the resources to lessen (a bit) the risks that come with farming.  Shareholders get to know exactly where their food comes from, and can volunteer on the farm.  This direct relationship has many benefits: the local environment is maintained by keeping land healthy, the growers have a secure market for their produce, and the members get fresh, delicious food!

With CSA membership, you can enjoy your favorite seasonal vegetables and fruits, grown naturally.  Produce varies weekly, and we include recipes that complement the harvest.  Your support early in the year allows us to plan our crops to meet your needs, and we ask for your input to enhance the CSA.
